Very useful stor & good stafe....

The store was nice, clean and plenty of good choice of clothing. The one things that put me off was I asked the sales person if he had one item I found but in smaller size. He said only what you see here is the only stock. So I I went for an alternative and more expensive option (though not my preferred option), and proceeded to pay. On my way out, I found on a lower floor a section full of selection of size of the original item I wanted and in my size. So I asked for an exchange (this was all before I stepped out of the store). Due to price difference, I was due a refund back. But the gentleman on the counter refused and said I have to buy something else within 30 days only. I explained that it was your salesman who was not aware of items placed in various parts of the store (not to be mistaken by items misplaced by customers, but actual multiple locations placed by the store), and thus I was forced to purchase and alternative option that I would rather had not made, and so it was not a change of mind, and that I am in the country only another 4 days. Still my credit refund was held to ransom!!! I have travelled from outside the country, but mind you I have travelled to many countries, and Bhuj is one of my regular places since it is my place of birth. Not kidding you, this is the first store that refused refund for not being customer fault. Actual fact, I have been refunded within 30 days for even change of mind. I would have accepted this policy had it been a change of mind, so one can imagine that a lack of knowledge from sales person was the underlying issue in this instance, and so to penalise a customer is rather unwelcoming feeling. Makes me feel that businesses often forget in the race to make a quick buck, that their only lifeline is the customer. I hope this review is not taken in a negative way, it is not to raise criticism or complaints to any staff, as I felt they were very friendly otherwise. It is merely my experience and maybe it would allow you to review and consider when refund can be issued on certain circumstances and allow some compassionate grounds. Acting as robots on policies doesn't give any human feeling. Rest assured, it is a store I would consider returning to and hope to have a better experience so I can have the opportunity to upscale the review to the full set of bars.
