Pantaloons Reviews in Laxmisagar, cuttack
Pantaloons Reviews
I recently visited the Pantaloons store at Maachhua Bazar, Cuttack, and had a very satisfying shopping experience. I purchased two sweatshirts , one for my daughter and another for my son at just Rs 200 each. This was an extremely discounted price, something we do not come across very often, especially for branded clothing.
In a city like Cuttack, where a large section of customers belongs to the middle-class category, people are naturally more inclined towards value-for-money and discounted apparel. Outlets like Reliance Fashion Factory have already understood this mindset and positioned themselves strongly as discount destinations for major brands. I believe Pantaloons also has great potential here, but to truly capture this market, the management needs to develop clear strategies to attract price-sensitive customers while still maintaining profitability and competing effectively with Reliance.
One aspect that stood out during my visit was the enthusiasm and product knowledge of the staff. They were very active in explaining ongoing offers and discounts. A special mention goes to one staff member, Miss Gayatri, who really caught my attention. She informed us about a 50% discount on deodorants and body sprays, and even took the effort to suggest a fragrance based on our preference. Acting on her advice, we bought the product, and it turned out to be quite nice.
This experience clearly shows how a well-informed, attentive, and enthusiastic staff member can positively influence a customer’s buying decision and overall perception of the brand. Overall, Pantaloons Buxibazaar has good offerings, competitive pricing during sales, and supportive staff factors that can help it grow strongly in the Cuttack market if leveraged well.
A great collection of dresses for all age groups. But parking is a problem.
Price little high ..but ok
Under renovation and range not that good
The selection at this store is, on average, just okay. You'll find a decent range of clothes, but don't expect to see many well known or high end brands. The quality of the merchandise is what you'd typically expect from a store like this.
My biggest issue with the store is their pushy approach to getting customers to sign up for a membership card. I understand that stores have policies, and offering a card for discounts is a common practice. However, the way it was handled felt unprofessional and frankly, quite annoying.
The sales staff was very insistent that I get a membership card, making it seem like a requirement to even make a purchase. They kept emphasizing the discounts I would miss out on without the card. I am not "hungry" for a discount and came to the store to buy clothes, not to sign up for a loyalty program. I believe this kind of behavior needs to be changed. While the staff was polite, the constant pressure to get a card soured the shopping experience.
